The Blue Bell Inn - STOCKSFIELD

Really nice pub with good eating and friendly staff. we were on site and visited three times. Sunday roast is excellent as the burger and other menu items we tried. are generous and good. if they are in the opposite, they try.

First time here for a meal and I have to say the food is tasty with good portion sizes. I had the mince and dumplings and the dumpling was the way it should be, crispy on top but soft and fluffy inside. Two of the other people I was with had the mixed grill which again was very tasty, well cooked and the steak was cooked as requested. The other person had a burger which was lovely and the homemade onion rings are the best I have seen.Prices are about average but portion sizes are big so overall good value for money. Staff very friendly and a nice cosy atmosphere inside with the log fire on. Definately recomend a visit.

The food was brilliant and you always get a perfect amount and not to expensive

Only stopped for a quick drink during cycling, but found the place lovely inside and staff are friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return soon

Very well cooked and tasty Sunday lunch. Substantial portions. Also a very good and attentive waitress
