This was my 2st time here and I must say it was absolutely beautiful, the menu is small as you would expect for Tea rooms however there is quite a good range of refreshments and meals to be had, its decor is very calming and it wasn 't too busy when I went, (14.30) the service was perfect and the food that came was so tasty, all cooked on premises (of course) and freshly prepared. If your in the area of Hartburn please do pop in and give this quaint little tea room a visit, 5* from me
The waiter was very keen, well mannered, efficient and welcoming. I asked for a cup of hot water at the start of our visit and he offered a slice of lemon with it. I had their cream tea special (pot of tea and a freshly baked while you wait scone) which is very reasonably priced. My husband had a chicken, bacon and brie panini which was served with 2 different fresh salads and was scrumptious. He also had their deluxe hot chocolate. Full marks for the food and service it's the bathroom that let them down (could be better maintained). I would recommend it for the food, atmosphere and especially, the service.
Brilliant little tea room hidden in the community great place for afternoon tea as you can see brilliant
I recently had afternoon tea at Elmwood Tea for my father's birthday, and everything was exceptional. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious, the cakes were wonderful, and they served a generous helping of fresh cream along with an assortment of Ringtons tea. The tearoom itself is beautifully traditional, complete with a fireplace, vintage dishes, and lovely tea plates. The service was friendly and excellent. This was our first visit, and we will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely experience!
