Food was amazing and will be back again as there are a lot of gluten free options on the menu. I have coeliac disease and was at ease and there was enough choice for everyone else. Prices were reasonable and the portions were really good.
We waited nearly 40 minutes for our drinks to be served at our table. Then we had to shout over a waitress to take our orders for food. 1 hour later food arrived. Food very disappointing. Thought we would give the desserts ago maybe a bit better, ordered jam roly poly was stale left it all. Will certainly not be visiting here again
Menu seems a bit smaller and most of the vegetarian options are no longer available. I had the vegetable stir fry which wasn't great rice was overcooked to a pulp and the veg was tough and stringy. The sweet chilli sauce had a strong vinegar flavour. Partner had a classic parmo with fries and enjoyed the parmo part which was a decent size.
Avoid! Service was terrible ordered drinks took over half hour even tho there was three people behind the bar just talking, half the food didn't even come that was stated on the menu, terrible experience will not return, told the manage but her attitude against us was disgraceful needs to go on a customer service course
Having used the “Hammy” since the early 80’s having moved away and coming home to visit my elderly parents , I booked a table to take them for diner. Table was booked for 6:30 having ordered two starters as mains and Thai curry, we were still waiting for food at 19:30, I asked the waitress what the hold up was to be told we were at the back of the queue because of a large order, but she had no idea how long our order would be, only to be told by someone else it would be after 8pm. Poor service especially on such a small order. Very little in the way of an apology, only excuses. Menu isn’t what it was also.
