Not only is the food fantastic but its very reasonably priced and the service is always great and really friendly. I also like that it's a social enterprise and supports a foodbank too. Not only is everything gluten free they are also great at dealing with all other food intolerances. Definitely some of the good guys and worth supporting.
I accidentally discovered this cafe and now I am a frequent customer because the staff always goes the extra mile to create customized meals to satisfy every craving at a very affordable price! I highly recommend this place. If you ever find yourself in Stockton, don't just stick to the High Street, make sure to stop by this cafe. I would be shocked if you left feeling unsatisfied!
After spending some time canvassing in the chilly weather for the Labour Party, a group of us decided to stop by the Labyrinth Holistic Community Cafe. It was refreshing to find a cafe that offered more than just overpriced specialty coffees; there were a variety of options available. I ordered a reasonably priced cup of tea and was pleased with it. I look forward to coming back again and hopefully getting the chance to try out their food as well.
I stopped by for coffee and cakes during a rare visit to Stockton, which has recently been uncovering some hidden gems. This cafe is one of them: a cozy spot where patrons engage in conversations, browse through a selection of second-hand books, relax on comfortable sofas, or work at a table. The owners are friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and the vegan ginger cake I tried was the best I've had in a while.
Can't recommend this place enough. As a vegan the selection and knowledge of staff were brilliant. I put together a 6 item vegan breakfast pancake, potato cake, scrambled tofu, sausage patty, homemade baked beans, mushrooms plus toast. All homemade and lovely. Staff were very helpful and friendly. If we were local we'd be hanging out there regularly. Plus there was lots of vegan home baking, ice cream, and snacks/groceries. Highly recommended.
