Cafe Continental - Stoke-on-Trent

This restaurant is unacceptable. I was appalled by the condition of the restroom and the attitude of the staff member. My child, who has special needs and a weak bladder, was not allowed to use the restroom because I didn't have cash to pay for a drink. The staff member even looked us up and down in a disapproving manner. I will never dine at this establishment again.

Excellent service with extensive menu. Fairly simple fare but well cooked and presented. Very clean environment and very friendly staff, have been in several times and always enjoyable

Located just off The Strand, I decided to stop by for a quick bite and drink. The staff was very friendly and the coffee was excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not very accessible for disabled individuals, but the staff went out of their way to make me comfortable. Luckily, the weather was nice and we were able to enjoy our meal outside in the sunshine.

Cafe Continental is our regular Saturday lunchtime stop. Food is always good and the coffee can't be beaten. Pleasant staff always make it a pleasure to visit.

Went at lunchtime on a weekday,place was full but managed to find a seat at the back.looked through menu and decided on the corned beef pie gravy.at £4.50 I expected chips or veg to accompany the pie.i asked the miserable bloke behind the counter serving,if it came with chips or veg,his reply no.then said there big portions,so me and sister had that.waited a bit for it to come,when it did i laughed.if you think that's a big portion,then you need your glasses renewing.it was enough for a toddler.the pie itself wasn't a pie,more a slither of soggy pastry with a tiny bit of corned beef underneath and mounds of instant gravy on top.parts were cold as if it had been thrown in the microwave.disgusting.wasted £4.50 there.we went onto a better place after for some proper food.
