Dining At The Leven - Stokesley

The food and service at this restaurant are fantastic, especially considering the price. However, the atmosphere lacked energy and character, likely due to the ongoing pandemic.

The food and service at the Leven Hotel were excellent. Unfortunately, during our visit, we observed individuals moving through the dining room and bar without masks on, despite COVID-19 guidelines. The staff and manager did not address this issue, and only requested that guests use hand sanitizer upon entry. This lack of enforcement of safety measures was disappointing, especially considering the positive reviews we had read. We were dissatisfied and concerned about the hotel's disregard for safety protocols. We will not be returning for future meals or events if such basic safety measures are not followed. It is important for businesses like the Leven Hotel in Stokesley to adhere to government guidelines in order to help prevent the spread of the pandemic. We cannot recommend this hotel to others and suggest that potential guests consider other options.

We stayed the night in the hotel it was gorgeous the food was amazing and the service , tony was great we will be back

Excellent quality food at The Leven restaurant with excellent service. Highly recommended.

Food was very nice taking into account the limited menu. Our only gripe was that we booked a 'dog friendly ' hotel with a view to having a couple of drinks in the bar with our dog. Dogs were only allowed in the room
