Star Inn - Stone

On Wednesday, we visited this pub for a meal and had a great experience. We both started with the Indian platter, which was very enjoyable. For our main courses, I had fish and chips with mushy peas while my partner opted for the BBQ burger. Both meals were delightful and came in generous portions. The staff were hardworking and enthusiastic, ensuring our food was served promptly and hot. We couldn’t resist dessert, and my chocolate mint sundae was delicious, while my partner thoroughly enjoyed his orange and chocolate bread and butter pudding. We washed everything down with a bottle of wine and two pints of beer. Overall, it was excellent pub food in a lovely atmosphere, with great service and reasonable prices.

We had a wonderful dining experience with very friendly staff and a fantastic location right by the canal! The service was incredibly accommodating when we had to change our buffet date on short notice. It was a lovely touch that they arranged wall scrabble letters into a cheerful message for our party. Thank you!

Fantastic pub with a wonderful atmosphere! The staff are friendly and the food is excellent.

On Saturday, 24th February, on Saturday, on the star, friendly staff for 21 of us, amazing work they have done will definitely come back.

Went today, found 8 of us a table straight away. Everyone's food was spot on. All staff were lovely and friendly also very helpfully. Will definitely be returning.
