Colarusso's Bakery - Stoneham

The place is highly overrated. We ordered a Boston cream pie, and it was of very poor quality. Additionally, the older woman selling it was quite rude. It's hard to believe that any employee could behave that way in a private business.

Best bakery around !! Was gifted a perfectly small size and regular size cake for my birthday. It was soo delicious!!Staff were so incredibly nice, will definitely be back for more cake and desserts !!

Picked up what I was looking for. Wonderful display of Italian style baked products. Many options. Delicious redults.

Colarusso's is my favorite Italian bakery in the Malden, Medford, Somerville, Wakefield, Stoneham, and Reading area. Whenever I have a craving for fresh cannoli, ricotta pie, pizzelle, Italian rum cake, Boston Cream Pie, Italian butter cookies, or Sicilian-style pizza, I treat myself to a visit to Colarusso's. You should definitely check it out too!

The food is good, but the service is quite unreliable. We preordered on two occasions well in advance, and both times, we were informed on the day of pickup that our order would not be fulfilled, with no explanation given and no effort made to rectify the situation—no apologies whatsoever. I asked to speak with the owner and was promised a call back, but I never heard from anyone. While the quality of the food is commendable, the way this situation was handled was disappointing and left a sour impression. I won't be returning.
