The service was ok, it’s buffet after all and you serve yourself, but the waitress checked on me 3 or 4 times, which it’s good. Be aware coffee, iced tea or any other drink are not included in the buffet price, which it’s $14.95 +tax per adult. Not a bad price for buffet. Here’s what I liked: pozole, despite being watery and having lots of corn, the flavor was excellent. Oh, and they only have little cups for it, no bowls at all. So if you’re lucky, you’ll get 4 pieces of meat in that little cup. Haha! If you really like pozole, you may need 2 cups of it and make sure you don’t get all corn and no meat. No diced onions or peppers to accompany it though. No oregano either. Chile relleno was really good, they only have the cheese kind, not ground beef, but they were really, really good. Chicken mole was also good, small pieces of chicken (bone-in) though but mole sauce was really good. Fried beans had good flavor. Papas con chorizo were good, but cold, ugh. Rice pudding was ok. Salsa roja, salsa verde pico de gallo were good. Green salad was good. Did not see any salad dressing though. What I didn’t like: egg dishes were cold, same with other dishes I tried last time. Bacon strips were chewy. Carnitas were chewy and had no flavor. Barbacoa was nothing special. Tortillas are cold, it’d be much better if the waitress brought tortillas to your table, in a tortilla warmer pouch or a tortilla warmer server( tortillero), that way they’re not cold when you try making tacos with them. Mexican rice had no flavor. I didn’t try all their dishes and not sure if I’ll come back for brunch again honestly.
We had a great time, enjoyed the good food and drinks. The service was excellent.
