Feedback gevenThe food was good, but really in portions and price do not fit at all. our server was great. However, there was a person we believe was the shift manager who wore so strong, obnoxic kokain that every time he came to our table we were going to hang on it. To be honest, restaurant staff should not wear fragrant because eating ends tasting like perfume instead of food.
Good service. Blue cheese was terrible. Got the “Buffalo” Chicken Strips that had very little hot sauce flavour, a little more like KFC. Breading separated from chicken. Chicken was tender although. Blue cheese dip was not chilled, very little actual blue cheese, seemed to be no-name salad dressing type. I think it was past expiry, stomach was not happy.
One star for the food only. Only 2 other people in entirety of restaurant and our meal took an hour. No refills on water or napkins despite asking. Server tried to make excuse that food is made fresh instead of apologizing. With over 20 years experience in the restaurant industry, was hugely disappointed since we have been to this restaurant several times with no issues. Will not be returning and would not recommend.
Sat down in the bar area Thursday July 21 at 6:30 pm. We received our drinks then the waitress never came back. We waited for 30 mins then asked for the bill. The lovely younger waitress with long brown hair working the bar was so helpful after we told her what happened.Original waitress was very rude (we were nice the whole time so this was uncalled for).Hoping next time is better!
Having avoided this restaurant for years following bad food we stopped in last week for a great surprise. No long the tacky cottage decor but now a classy upscale cottage vibe. Our server was spectacular, great suggestions for drinks and food. I had an Asian rib platter, it was ok, definitely room for improvement it but it was so much better than their old menu where everything came out of the fryer. I’ll come back and try again with a different menu choice, there are a few interesting items. We both found the beers and cocktails expensive compared to ever other restaurant in this category of dining. A $10 draft beer is pushing it.
