Pastaggio Italian Eatery - Stouffville

During a full day of work and errands we stopped at Pastaggio for a midday meal. Our salads were fresh and delicious; service commendable. Not the first time I've eaten here when visiting Stouffville and definitely not the last.

We have been to Pastaggio now 3 times and each time has been as good as the last grant it we order the same thing each time! The gluten free pasta is great, the chef adjusts the alfredo sauce to be gluten free my son has grilled chicken and I have the gluten free pasta con Gamberi e Calamari...the cesar salad minus the croutons takes fresh and crisp. Pastaggio has been added to our favourites...

My wife and went to this restaurant because they offered some gluten free options, we both had the chicken dish. My portion was twice as thick as my wife's and was not cooked when it was served. I sent it back and the owner who was standing by the bar did not even bother to come and see what the problem was or offer any apologies. I had to go to MCD'S on the way home cause I was still hungry.

Visiting the area, met a friend for lunch. I thoroughly enjoyed the Insalata di Arugula e Blue Cheese. Fresh strawberries were substituted for pears, absolutely delicious. Our server was professional, polite, her timing was spot-on. Decor and ambiance very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to dine here again. Thank-you for a memorable meal.

We had the fried calamari with gorgonzola cheese as a shared starter. It was fantastic. Crispy and the cheese gave it a nice salty note. Marina on the side was very good. Had the pasta special which was flavor-packed! Service was prompt. Lovely interior design.
