Bell Indian Cuisine - Stourbridge

It wasn't quite what I had anticipated. I ordered my steak medium, but it arrived well done. The fries were soaked in grease, the mushroom was cold, and overall, it was extremely overpriced. I've had better meals at Wetherspoons for a fraction of the cost. The venue is nice, so I would suggest going for a drink, but I would recommend skipping the food.

Delicious food and exceptional friendly service. We celebrated my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary at the restaurant, where they had their wedding reception many years ago. A delightful surprise at the end of the meal was a complimentary bottle of Prosecco, which was a lovely gesture.

The food is really great, with an excellent variety of authentic ales and lagers. The staff is friendly, and the service is top-notch.

Before I explain my one-star rating, I want to mention that I have dined here several times in the past, and the food has always been very good. A couple of years ago, we had a family meal booked for Boxing Day, which turned into a complete disaster. The food we had reserved wasn't available, and the service was extremely slow. Now, fast forward to today, I decided to give the restaurant another chance. I pre-booked a table and was seated promptly, only to be informed that there was no lamb, no beef, no roasts of any kind, and no chicken available for any dishes. While the menu itself is decent, the only options left were fish, pie, a burger, and vegetarian dishes. There was no prior warning about this situation. I'm left wondering if I should wait another couple of years to try again or give it another shot next month. I'm really not sure.
