Junior's Stowe

The environment was beautiful, but it was a cool interior. The server was great and accommodating. We had higher expectations for food, so I was somewhat disappointed, especially calculated for the price, so the 4 stars. I had the Rigatoni alla Vodka and it needed a better balance between red and cream sauce. I suggest more red sauce would improve the taste. I was in a party of eight, and I tasted the spaghetti with garlicky red sauce and that was the best dish at the table.

Location is good and the restaurant is very cozy. Waitstaff was excellent. The prices were reasonable and the food was very delicious. The homemade bread was delicious. Only negative was that 2 of the 4 ducks came to the table when only warm. That's how the timing of cooking was. Otherwise, 5 stars would have been given. Surely the food would look back there

Salute is a great restaurant. The food is delicious with many options, including many vegetarian dishes. The staff is very friendly and the ambience is warm and cozy with a modern flair. I was able to make the same day reservations for Sunday, but advanced reservations are highly recommended for Thursday Saturday.

This is my favorite restaurant in Stowe; we stay in Stowe 1 week a year. I always go to this restaurant. Large Italian menu with large price range. We always eat on the covered terrace, the very attractive multi-year flowers around them and bright lights in cover, adding the atmosphere.

First time at Salute for myself and my date. I searched for a real Italian restaurant in central Vermont and Salute is it. She had the salmon, I veal marsala. Both were excellent. Staff is so friendly. Chase our server was outstanding. Ambiance is charming and our fireplace seating was nice. We'll definitely be back.
