Von Trapp Brewery Bierhall - STOWE

Always a fun dinner stop when we're in the area. It's usually busy, but we went at 5pm on a Wednesday this time and it was very quiet. If you go on a weekend I'd recommend reservations. The menu has some great options with Austrian flair, and the beer never disappoints. They don't offer flights but they do have taster sizes available for most of the beer options.

Unfortunately I had high expectations for this place. The pretzels tasted like the frozen ones you buy from the store and the cheese was $5 extra and not very hot. Also the cheddar soup was cold. The bratwurst was good. It is a pretty view though and the beer is good so I would recommend skip eating here and just go for drinks.

So much fun. Great beer, great views, great vibe. Attentive servers. It kills the atmosphere for me sometimes when people bring children to a brewery but there was a big patio outside for families.

Love this place. Great beer, decent food, nice views. I come here every time I'm in the area...especially for the beer;

I've been there twice. Never disappointed. Great place to bring visitors from out of state.
