Murphy's On The Green - Strabane

Food was ok. Service was the worse I've witnessed. No steak knife. Fork to eat ice cream. Waiters were very uninterested in their job and the customers.

Food was good but service was really poor. The main was brought before we received the starters and after waiting forever we had to get up to the bar to get desert cards and nobody even came down to take our desert orders. So while food was 4/5, service was 0 and cleanliness maybe okay but in the entrance had to dig your way through the flies

Terrible place to eat. My autistic daughter found a bone in her chicken fillet burger which we were still charged for. A chicken filled burger was one of the very few foods in life that she will eat but after this experience she will never eat them again. Will never be back.

Really disappointed with the service and food. Waiting about 15 minutes before anyone even asked what we wanted to order. Food came eventually and chicken was pink and parts were like rubber. No Pineapple in the messy burger either. Beer no head on it either. Staff stood around bar area most of the time. Very disappointing

My group of 4 visited this restaurant for a New Year's Day meal. We arrived around 7pm and it seemed like the place was just emptying out. We ordered drinks and the young waitress was nice enough to go to the local shop to get me milk. However, the two girls in our group ordered strawberry daiquiris but they were not provided with straws to drink it with. We waited a while for our main dishes to arrive, and when they did, they were disappointing. The steaks we ordered were small in size and had excessive fat on the side. The mashed potatoes were lumpy, cold, and had black parts throughout. We brought this to the attention of the waiter, who offered to change them. When the sides arrived, garlic was missing from one dish and a pepper sauce was missing from another. The replacement sides took a while to arrive, and during that time, two new tables had their orders taken before us. When the replacement sides finally arrived, they were not much better in quality. We mentioned that two sides had still not arrived, and when they did, they were also of poor quality. The waiter apologized for the mishaps and tried to make amends, but the poor standard of food persisted throughout the meal. On paying our bill, no discount or compensation was offered. Overall, this was my first and last visit to this restaurant. Other local restaurants and cafes offer much higher quality food and service.
