Although we arrived quite early, the number of guests was already impressive and the restaurant filled in the course of the time almost to the last place. “Bulldogwirt” turned out to be extremely loud. there was no standard menu, but only a single menu of the day that included about half dozen main courses. it was hard meat, as a single fish dish was the only main course without meat, while no vegetarian option was available. while the drinks were served quickly, it took an hour! until we got the soups. a quarter of an hour later they served our eight main courses. eating was nicely plated and tasted good. the proportions were normal large. so for most of us the main course was enough for lunch. prices were not high, but the most important courses cost about 3 to 4 euro more than in other restaurants of the same culinary standard in the region. So if they only want a decent meal without being interested in antiques, it can close to more economic choices than “Bulldogwirt”.
We spent an evening at this beautiful place in autumn and were extremely satisfied with our choice. the courteous staff informed us about the local dishes and weep. the chef made an excellent job and the location was simply stunning. so much other things. all over the world. expect the unexpected around each corner. here's a must!
