Ventspils - Stralsund

We visited this restaurant since it was part of our hotel package. i.e. we had prepaid for it, and expected something special. It is well located with a view to the water, but lacking any real restaurant atmosphere. of a cafe. Our server seemed...to have a bad attitude. No enthusiasm or pride in serving. She was not particularly happy to see us. Overall the meal was acceptable, but nothing special. I would not eat dinner here again

Our family had recently a very pleasant evening meal. the staff was very friendly and attentive, although the restaurant was almost full. we had a lot of meals and all noticed that eating was excellent. the menu offered a large selection of fish, meat and pasta. combined with the great view over the water it was a delightful evening.

The restaurant and caffe is beautifully located on the water on the sundpromenade (formerly Ernst-Thälmann-Ufer). the interieur is fresh, but a bit minimalist. the eating is good, but the waiting times are long and the staff can be somewhat uninterested. this is a pity, because this place has a lot of potential - both the location and the kitchen make a visit worth. I would visit it again.

Very nice and helpful staff. Great location. Super price/performance ratio. Very delicious food. Would recommend anyone who asks me.
