Very nice meal taken tonight at Stoked. the staff was very pleasant and attentive. Perfect atmosphere and decor for a restaurant on the ocean! I put 4 stars because we had booked two days ago a place on the terrace, and obviously the table that was kept to us tonight was the one we reserve to the retardants... in front of the door and away from the spot on the sea. The tapas plates are very varied and very good. Count if you want to eat at your hunger, spend about 100 € for two people.
Amazing. Delicious. Perfect. After having a fairly disappointing meal at Rosses Point’s Driftwood, the following evening we headed over to Stoked with high hopes. It exceed all of them. The food is exquisite, high quality ingredients, cooked served in and with amazing sauces or sides. Everything we ate had us stunned into appreciative silence. The scallops were possibly the best I’ve ever had And the cauliflower ‘chicken wings’ were delicious. The style of plates are shared or small tapas style which means you end up trying lots of different things. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food. The staff are plentiful (something Driftwood struggled with) and really knowledgeable and most importantly, funny and personable. If I could eat here once a week I would be a happy woman! A wonderful, unpretentious high quality restaurant.

Another memorable evening at Stoked in Strandhill. Shane and his team keep inventing, refining and entertaining. One of the hits was the miso glazed aubergine, the cod, tomato and fennel and the Hispi cabbage with whipped chilli butter and whipped tahini coriander. And the wine list keeps getting better and better, we enjoyed a white wine from Slovenia and then had an exclusive taste of Orange, Calcarius from Puglia. It was unlike any wine we had tasted before, biodynamic, natural und unfiltered. Shane said it’s almost like a kombucha taste. We loved it!
