Au Gutenberg - Strasbourg

The waitress mistook grapes with lentils (no kidding) and meat with cauliflower. Poor quality of meat, poor quality of wine. I wouldn't recommend it, not even to my worst enemies. To avoid.

We tried all different kinds of the thin crust pizza....tarte flambe....wonderful crust with white cheese and vegs....son and sis had the version with the pancetta.....wonderful...not a crumb left! Prices good, tourist friendly!

It took us an hour and a half, literally, to decide to leave without eating. We ordered the food, but after almost one hour of not getting it, the waiter apologized saying they had a group of 43 people eating upstairs, and assured us we would be served within 10 minutes. Half an hour later we decided to get up and leave. It took us a while to find another place to eat because it was too late. The whole thing ruined our plans to go to Baden-Baden in the afternoon! One of the waiters was very rude. I highly recommend NOT going there!

Had lunch there today with the family. Food was mediocre. For the prices charged you would expect something better, more. Toilets were in dire state.

We had fantastic entrecôtes with sauces béarnaise and aux poivres which were not in the menu and were very happy with both the friendliness and attention of our allocated waiter. The God knows why so stressed female boss in the aile was doing nothing but stressing him. She has positively some huge learning potential about welcoming guests ("close the entrance door behind you", is all she yelled over the whole restaurant when we came in) and in regards to treating her employees right behind the back of the customers in a decent and respectful manner... we were there for enjoying French everyday's cuisine and having a great time during our first hour in Strasbourg so we did not even dream of getting infected at all by her bossy vibes.
