Papa's Place - Stratford

Everything was fantastic, but I really have to highlight the tres leches cake. It's absolutely amazing! It's definitely worth visiting for that alone. My mom even drove three hours just for her favorite tres leches, and she was thrilled with it as well. We will definitely be returning!

The empanadas were overly salty, and the family deal is only sufficient for two people at most. It wasn't worth it. I won't be coming back.

Worst customer service, owner Christina is rude and argumentative. They do not uber well and all over the place. Twice I had to cancel orders due to service! Horrible customer service!!!

The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was quite busy with takeout and delivery orders. They have a large menu, and I decided to try the bacalaito, maduros, and empanadas. Unfortunately, the bacalaito wasn’t crispy at all. The empanadas were well-stuffed, but the beef filling was overly salty. I was really excited to try the maduros since I love them, but I was disappointed to find they had a leftover flavor. It seemed like they reused oil from another dish, which affected the taste. I tried adding cream and cheese, but it didn’t help, and they still tasted dry. This was disappointing. I might give it another shot for breakfast, when everything is supposed to be fresh.

Family owned and feels home like. Love the food. Eat there on the regular and I snag empanadas for snacks through my days ????
