However, most of their menu items are deep fried, so I wanted to confirm if they used a separate fryer for their vegetarian options (which should be a given for a place claiming to be veggie friendly). I was informed that all fried foods are cooked in the same fryer as meat, making it not truly suitable for vegetarians. This is a major issue as it is false advertising and disrespectful to those with dietary or religious restrictions. It is also a potential health and safety concern, particularly for individuals with allergies. Needless to say, we will not be returning or recommending this restaurant to others.
We always receive a warm and friendly welcome at this restaurant. The service is excellent and they have a wonderful selection of tapas including options for vegan, vegetarian, and meat lovers. The location is lovely and the atmosphere is small and personal. An added bonus is that they are dog friendly, which we love.
All fried elements on the menu stay in the same oil as meat and fish fried, although they are vegan marked
This place is promoted as vegetarian and vegan friendly, proud to offer itself as the best selection of vegetarian and vegan foods in stratford. also on the menu they apply many of their products like (w.) most of their products are deep fritted, so I wanted to check that they used a separate frit for their veggie elements (that would certainly be the first thing a self-proclaimed veggie-friendly place would think.) I was told that all the fried foods are deep in the same frit eaten and therefore nothing is really according to the standards of each, at least one caffe that claims to be veggie / vegan friendly, this is 100% non vegetarian. the stormy part is the blatant false advertising. it is completely disrespectful and unprofessional to apply food as something that it is not, especially offensive to those with food and/or religious requirements. most importantly it is that it may be a very serious health and safety problem for people with allergies (as muddles). enough to say we will not revisit or recommend to others.
This restaurant was the ideal spot for a family to come together for a leisurely lunch, offering options for both vegans and non-vegans. The tapas menu was extensive, with separate sections for vegetarian and vegan options, each offering 8 choices for £18. The portions were generous, enough for two people. We enjoyed the sunshine and river views outside. It was a fantastic dining experience!
