Feedback gevenMy husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Runway 25. He ordered the pickerel and I had the filet mignon.
The restaurant is very attractive, but the menu is a bit expensive. The service was quite strange and not very efficient, but I didn't go there for the service.
I was extremely impressed with the restaurant. The food was delicious and served very quickly.
We went there for lunch because the kiddos wanted to play at the park as well. The service was terrible. The girl was flustered and very short with us for no reason. She was annoyed because are kids were waiting for their food beside the order window. She repeatedly told them to go away and that she would call them when the food was ready. They were not in anyone's way and were simply looking at flyers posted in the window. The food was gross. Very greasy. I think the oil needed to be changed. It was all processed ****. It is a beautiful location....the rest is ****.
Located in the park next to the Festival Theater, Duke's offers pre and post theater fare. We ordered and shared the schnitzel with fried onions combo with fries and a drink. The schnitzel is deep fried to a golden brown and served on a hamburger bun. The oversized schnitzel sticks far out the ends of the bun. As a result you are biting into the schnitzel alone. Next time I would request that the schnitzel be cut in half and doubled up in the bun so that every bite includes bun, schnitzel and fried onions. Sauerkraut is an option instead of fried onions. The shack has 6 tables for four. The chairs are steel mesh. We were glad to have seat cushions with us.
