Phinley's - Stratford

Phinley’s is a delightful family-style restaurant located in Stratford, offering plenty of parking and attracting both locals and visitors. As someone with Celiac disease, I truly appreciate the variety of gluten-free options available. On this visit, I ordered the hand-breaded gluten-free chicken burger with fries and gluten-free gravy. The fries were hot and crispy, while the gravy had a great flavor. The chicken burger was moist and juicy, delivering excellent taste. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire meal. The dining area is pleasant, though a bit dusty in some spots, and it feels somewhat cramped. My server was efficient and accurately took my order, checking in a couple of times to ensure I had everything I needed. However, her demeanor was somewhat unfriendly, making me feel like an inconvenience. Despite this, I would still return due to the high quality of their gluten-free options!

I ordered 3 chicken burger...one with mash, one with fry's and one with onion rings...They were the best...moist meat ...crunchy batter...oh so good...Thanks you so much...Angela

I visited Phinley's after hearing a radio advertisement for a burger called The Apple Jack. It was absolutely delicious! I really regret not taking a photo because it was that good. Unfortunately, it’s only available for a limited time; I wish I could enjoy it all year round. My husband ordered the Classic Cheeseburger, and I also wish I had captured that in a picture because it was excellent as well.

I had the haddock and fries, and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous, and the staff was really friendly.
