The Waterside Bar Restaurant

For the first time here near our house. beautiful inside and eating was absolutely delicious. both I and my man had a warm greeting from a coworker who believed their name was pauline.

This amazing little bar/restaurant for our first meal on our babymoon and it was not disappointed! the service was brilliant, with socially remote Kovid measures at place, including screens, much hand sanitiser and all workers in masks. the staff was very friendly and polite and eating was absolutely beautiful! such a beautiful selection, we were spoiled for the choice! after much consulting went my partner and I both went for the suppe of the day, the tomaten, chili and red pfeffer it was great! then my partner went for the fish chips with plastered heirs and I decided for the 3 cheese caroni. the portions were huge! so much, we were not able to press in a dessert, much to my disappointment. I would definitely recommend this place and would certainly go back if we would ever visit strathaven again!

Had a special family dinner. eating was really amazing. good portion sizes meant that we could press in a pudding that was brilliant!

I've visited this restaurant several times for lunch and really enjoy the atmosphere. The venue strikes a nice balance between a relaxed vibe and a more upscale feel. The food is of high quality, with a good selection to choose from. The staff is attentive and genuinely interested in making sure you're having a good experience. However, I think the place could benefit from hosting special events or playing some music to add a bit more energy.
