Everything is just amazing. <br/ <br/ My favourite dish would be the Thai Style Fried Rice, crying tiger, pork belly and don’t sleep on their desserts because they are bomb especially the banana and jack fruit fritters!!! Ahhh can’t recommend this place enough.
Always the first option when thinking for a dinner in Strathfield. My kid’s favourite restaurant and he really likes the ‘crab fried rice’
We were a group of six and ordered about eight dishes. Perhaps the number of dishes was a bit too much, food came a bit late. chilli basil fried rice was amazing and massam curry with lamb was succulent. The most surprising dish was the Bbq chicken which was juicy and the sauce was complimenting the meat. Barramundi fish with ginger and shallots is a dish I will no longer be ordering. the sauce was bit too much and soy sauce was overdone. overall, a hearty meal today.
We were looking for somewhere in Strathfield for a quick bite to eat and had heard good things about this restaurant and checked it out on Zomato and it seemed to confirm this. Located on the Boulevarde, it has a contemporary feel about it and has definitely been modernised from the previous restaurant that used to be in this spot. <br/ <br/ The service was very friendly and we immediately sat down and given water. Although it is a Lao and Thai restaurant, the majority of the dishes lend themselves to be Thai based. The portion sizes seem to be quite generous. We had the Duck Curry and Jasmine rice to go with that. The curry had a nice flavour which wasn’t too spicy as tempered with lychees and pineapple. Nice pieces of duck though out. The rice was a bit too firm for our liking. We also shared Cashew Nut Noodles which came with flat rice noodles. We opted to have chicken in ours which were large pieces and well cooked. It was a mild sauce that came with it and perfect for us and the majority don’t like spicy food. <br/ <br/ Overall a good restaurant with pleasant service to match.
One of my favourite eateries in this part of Sydney; the big drawcard are the Lao offerings because I love Lao food. I order at least 2 plates of grilled ox tongue every time I come, along with the red duck curry, the Lao-style papaya salad and the durian smoothie. My son-in-law loves the rice noodles with chicken and cashews, and if we have room for dessert we order the unique deep-fried ice cream which is wrapped in filo pastry.
