This is an average sort of a restaurant. The staff are very friendly though. Parking can be an issue.
We took the whole extended family of 12 for dinner at this restaurant.Being Easter holidays, the owner Jacob was personally manning the kitchen as the Chef in charge and served us absolutely finger licking good food. The four entree's of Dahi papdi chaat, samosa, medu vada and potato chick pea salad were amazing with the chaat and samosa the best. The mains consisted of delicious vegetable korma, okra and onion curry, absolutely divine malai kofta and yellow dal. These were accompanied by freshly made naans and steamed rice.As fellow Indians who are used to flavoursome from all over India besides we also cook these at home, we are naturally very fussy about what we eat and we can definitely say Jacob ticks all the boxes and serves a great authentic and tasteful meal.Would go back any time and would also recommend his restaurant for a meal.
Went to this place for dinner once and I only suggest someone going there if they can wait a long long time for food as I went I was greeted nicely by the waitstaff and we ordered a banquet the condiments and papad were given promptly. After that we were given the entree which were nice and then began the wait and we waited and waited and waited for exact 40 minutes before they got our food , the quantity was pretty good but the quality wasn't that great , and I would just rate the mains as mediocre , won't be going again here again ,
Good, clean fresh tasing North Indian food. The flavours and spices were not over powering.Service was very courteous, warm and friendly apart from being very quick.Very generous portions. We had entree's of Vegetable tikki, Samosa and Paneer pakora all very tasty with nice mint/yoghurt chutney and another sweet date chutney. The mains of mixed vegetable curry, paneer sabji and dal makhani were all very nice and flavoursome and not overly spicey. The naans were amazinginly fresh and fluffy. The management threw in dessert of Kheer free and it was so tasty.Overall a wonderful experience. The food has everything that the owners Jacob and Shirley have been working very hard and striving for many years,Would have no hesitation in recommending a meal there any time. They do great catering as well.
