They've kept some of the old design, especially at the side, then a pleasant area at the front, nice staff and reasonable prices for a reasonable beer range.

2021.11.07 Kept standing in the rain at the rear entrance, waiting try and scan the QID code, then the guard meticulously checking vaccination status certificates, not accepting snapshots on cell phone, insisting on seeing actual printout. Mine was all in order, my wife has a certificate of contra-indication, which the guard would not accept even though the NSW health website lists the same as valid evidence of covid-19 vaccination. If your GP writes a letter of contra-indication, he/she writes the same for a valid medical reason. Your respectfully, Former patron of the Crossways Hotel

I've never given a bad review but the staff here where just unbelievably rude and having a good laugh together at customers expense.

I used to live just across the road from this renovated pub. My partner and I always loved the food. Either a steak with a peppercorn sauce with steamed veggies and mash potato or a massive burger. The staff was always helpful when we had questions about the menu or the wine. I recommend this place especially in winter when you can seat around that fire place.
