McDonald's - Strathmore

We decided to grab lunch at this restaurant drive-through. Jenny, the employee at the takeout window, was extremely friendly and pleasant. The exterior of the restaurant, including the shrub-beds and parking lot, was well-maintained and clean. Although some of our food wasn't ready right away, a staff member promptly brought it out to our parked car. Our hot dishes were served hot and the cold items were cold. Everything tasted delicious! We ordered a Big Mac meal, Asian salad, and drinks. Even though this is a fast food restaurant and we chose the drive-through option, we wanted to thank them for providing us with a very positive dining experience.

Top Notch Service! Fast friendly service. The food was hot, the drinks were cold and everything tasted great. The restaurant was clean. What took things above and beyond was the team lead who went to each kid's table and gave them colouring sheets, board games and offered a mini cone if they ate their lunch. To top it off she let the kids help her make their cones and then gave them their balloons. You don't get service like this anywhere else. The kids are still talking about the "awesome McDonald's."

The service was OK, but the food was excellent, and very polite people. Actually tasted like a real burger compared to a few days earlier in Swift Current.

This is probably one of the grubbiest MacDonald's that we have stopped at throughout North America. several staff standing around, not doing anything. tables covered in stuff from former customers. all the trash bins in the place were overflowing and there was no attempt to clean anything up at all. only place open at 10:30 pm on a week night, including the Tim Horton's next door, which had apparently shut early.

Not sure what's wrong with this franchise. I have ever had a great McDonald's meal. I've tried asking for extra sauce to boost the taste up on a McChicken or Big Mac and end up with hardly none.! This time I didn't bother asking for extra sauce and the Big Mac did not taste good at all - bland and lacking the flavor. The fries were old and dry. The drink was good! The restaurant also took jobs away with their new oder screen in the restaurant - disappointing.
