Stopped in last night for my Thai fix. I ordered their Thai Spicey Noodle dish for take out. It took 3 phone calls to get someone to answer and take the order. The food was supposed to be ready for pick up in 20 minutes,...it was well over half an hour. When i arrived there was only the cook working in the kitchen and orders were backing up. Once i got my food it was excellent.
Ordered take out this time. I ordered the Classic Pad Thai Noodle dish $13.99) and the Hot and Sour Soup $3.99). The pad thai was full of shrimp and chicken, was moist and tasty. I love hot sour soup and can't find it locally very... great to have a place here in town serving it!. Service was great 15 minutes from ordering to pick up and food was served hot. Excellent
The restaurant is quite unusual. Upon entering, we were greeted by a pleasant smell. My companion remarked that the scent was nicer in the men's room than in the dining area. The decor was eclectic, with Canadian art on one side and random Asian landscapes and food pictures that were not on the menu on the other. The attire was casual, with camp mugs for tea. I was surprised to find that they did not offer chopsticks. When I ordered tea, I was taken aback to receive Lipton, which is not typical for Asian cuisine. While the menu had some Thai options, the majority was standard Chinese fare. After a couple of attempts, our order was correct and the food was delicious. There was only one waitress, and the kitchen staff wore dusty sweat pants while delivering the food. It took a long time to receive our bill, and then they eagerly accepted payment from our table. I would consider returning, but perhaps for take-out instead.
I went to a Thai restaurant in high spirits. Although the place was busy, I had to wait 10 minutes for my order. The Thai ginger pork served in a small bowl of hot and sour soup delighted my taste buds. The dish was priced at around $16, which was a great deal.
