Steak House Liberec - Straz nad Nisou

We were in Babylon on a short getaway and one evening we decided to go for a nice dinner outside the water park "resort." I searched according to references on Google and in other apps. According to the references, it looked like one of the best restaurants in Liberec. The service was fine, yeah. That I would give 5*. I ordered the side salad without tomatoes, which didn't go well. So the waiter took it away (saying "they put tomatoes there, right?") No apology, but I'll survive)... I had the US ball tip steak, I wanted it medium, but rather closer to medium rare. I got medium well. With that salad without tomatoes (with Balkan), it was delicious (when they took out the tomatoes and returned the same salad of course I'm not allergic thankfully). My wife had the AUS Flank steak, also medium, which turned out well. The side of beans with bacon, excellent. Pilsner can't go wrong, great. I'm not from Prague, but those who give 5* for steaks here should go to a restaurant in Prague. It's a different world. Of course, for a different price, it needs to be mentioned. Next time I would happily come here, but definitely not for steak. At the end, the waiter asked if everything was alright and I told him honestly that not completely. He apologized for the steak and gave us dessert for free. Thumbs up.

The restaurant has a very unique location, for years I thought it was part of the bar right next door. But don't be put off by the exterior! As they say, don't judge a book by its cover. If you are a steak lover, then you are in luck in Liberec! The lunch menu is excellent and reasonably priced. The service is also friendly.

A very decent establishment. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, thanks to its location by the main road near the bus station. However, they have managed to create a cozy atmosphere by isolating it from the lights and noise of the passing cars. The menu offers a rich selection of dishes at fairly reasonable prices. Beer lovers will be pleased to know that there is a different beer to choose from every month. I was surprised to see that the main dishes are served on preheated plates, which is not very common in this price range. The main course and side dish are served separately, which is great for people who don't like their food mixed together. Parking is available in a nearby parking garage, where the first 150 minutes are free (which is usually enough for a meal, and on weekends it is free with no time limit). Another surprise was the discounted daily menu even on weekends, which is a nice touch. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Krásné prostředí, příjemná obsluha a jídlo nadprůměrné!! Byli jsme velmi spokojeni a až se vrátíme do Liberce tohle bude první místo kam půjdu večeřet!! Doporučují všem!

Restaurace, kde docela umí steaky (málo osolený, ale jinak super) a mají skvělou kuchyni. Vynikající obsluha i prostředí s parkováním ihned v centru. Škoda jen, že chybí dětský koutek a větší nabídka piv a domácích limonád (ale v Liberci je to asi standard). Každopádně doporučuji, byli jsme spokojeni.
