Wendy's - Streator

07/23/2023 Just got the Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich. Halfway through the chicken breast, the meat became totally dried out, hard, discolored, and disgusting. I'm not sure if it is freezer burn or maybe it sat under the heat lamp too long. See photo. $13 for this sandwich, drink, and fry. I'm not sure what is going on with this Wendy's, but it is consistently terrible.

Disappointing every time. They never seem to actually listen and when you call them out about it they act like you were wrong. I got the wrap and it has less than a 1/4 scoop of chicken on it, but the tortilla was hard on the edges.

I’d suggest not going unless you want food poisoning. Woke up at 3am HURTIN’. Someone else in town said the same thing last time they went.

Out of items that weren't updated on the mobile ordering app forgot extra condiments sour cream etc. Expired chips fr the taco salad .

I visit this location a few times a week. There are always some kind of issues most of the time. Sometimes they're out of stock on some things. Their rewards system hasn't worked for awhile now, when Ottawa's seam's to work fine. There's been several times I've stopped by and their closed during regular hours of business with no notification!! Lately their chicken nuggets have been over cooked. Most the time they only wait on 1 customer at a time at the drive through. You get asked to wait at the speaker for quite awhile, when you finally order and pull around there's no other cars ahead of you!! I'm never given a receipt, I always have to ask for one. There's been a few times I've been shorted a few chicken nuggets. As far as the food quality the only complaint I have is the chicken nuggets are usually over cooked. The sandwiches and other things are very delicious ??.
