Blue Crab House - street

I visited for the first time and ordered a half dozen steamed crabs. They were excellent and very satisfying! I will definitely return. The staff was friendly and brought the crabs to my car.

Crabs are always delicious, though quite pricey. We began visiting this restaurant when we moved to the area, and the staff at the front counters are always smiling and very friendly.

I've purchased crabs from the Blue Crab House on numerous occasions and have always been satisfied with their quality. Unfortunately, I ordered a dozen large crabs today and was very disappointed. To my surprise, these so-called "large" crabs were quite small. I typically order large crabs, so the difference in size was noticeable right away when I placed them on the table. Additionally, the crabs were very dry and didn't taste fresh at all. It's a shame because we've usually relied on this place for good crabs. It's hard to justify spending $90 for a dozen crabs when the quality is subpar, so I think we'll be looking for another option in the future.

I have crabs! There is nothing like old bay that reveals all your paper cuts, but the pain is worth all the tasty crab meat.

Crabs really good. We never buy anything less than extra large. The rest of the items for sale in the refrigerator cases have all gone down hill. They don't make salads and soups the way they used to so we just get crabs. Thankfully I got the old shrimp mac salad recipe awhile ago from a friend who used to work there.
