Croma is a growing chain of Italian and pizza, mainly around Greater Manchester with 8 locations in the UK, 4 of which being restaurants which are all in the Greater Manchester Area, and the other 4 being this format, the Pizza Points, one of which is in Greater Manchester with the other three scattered around the country in Odeon cinemas in Edinburgh, Leicester and Tunbridge Wells. I like the Croma chain, having visited my local branch in Prestwich a number of times, they do normally offer gluten free so this is why I came here. The location isn't great, it is located in one of the largest shopping centres in the country with one of the largest selection of restaurants and fast food chains so in a way, I can't help but question the need for this place with so many rivals, and it mainly is just a place that one would go to get something to eat while watching a film, not something worth going out of your way to eat at. I was frustrated to have to wait a good number of minutes from arriving just to get someone's attention, the server didn't apologise for the wait or seem too friendly or helpful. The menu was very limited especially compared to the Croma restaurants, which sadly means it is more fast-food than a nice dining experience, and they also don't have any gluten free options. Sadly this branch helps me question the Croma brand as a whole, it feels like they are selling their soul, their USP. their reputation and what they are all about in this branch, which as a whole is highly disappointing so sadly deserves a single one star.
Great food! Really good!
