Iwm North Cafe - Stretford

The restaurant wasn't as large as I initially expected, but I still had an amazing 2.5 hours there. I highly recommend this place if you're nearby. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I had some great conversations about the past and philosophical topics with the gentleman and lady working there. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This museum is both fascinating and deeply moving. The exhibits are organized along a timeline that spans from World War I to the present day. I highly recommend purchasing the manual, as it highlights several intriguing elements to explore. There are also regular movie screenings projected on the walls in the main area, which I found captivating. The most poignant one depicted the impact of war on children. Additionally, there is a great shop and a café located at the front of the museum.

I really enjoyed this place; it has so much history all in one spot. The decorations were stunning, and there’s no entrance fee. If you’re looking to spend some quality time surrounded by war memorabilia and history, you should definitely check this place out.

Such an amazing and insightful visit to the IWM north. Really recommend a visit here, and there is a car park on site that is reasonably priced for the location. The exhibitions and layouts are educational and informative too. Keep up the good work!
