Another delicious meal at The Pavillion. We usually dine-in as we like to make an occasion of eating such delicious food. I particularly appreciate the table linen, it makes the whole dining experience so special. Last evening we ordered Chicken Tikka, Vegetale Curry, Plain Boiled Rice, Jeera Gost, Pilau Rice, Garlic and Corriander Naan and Popodoms with dips to start, all freshly cooked and couteously served. We have been dining at The Pavillion since it opened in this location after moving from above The Old Neighbourhood Inn. Relatives of ours who have travelled the world and lived and worked in many eastern countries say it is one of the best places for a curry that they have experienced. Brimscombe, Stroud is so fortunate to have such a good Indian Restaurant and Takeaway.
Had takeaway on Sunday meal wasn’t very hot, chicken was tough and didn’t taste fresh. We hadn’t been for about 9 months because we had the same issues. Noticed there was no food rating on the door. Won’t be going back again don’t waste your money.
So sad as previous experience was of a good quality meal. All dishes this time lacked fresh spice and all tasted basically the same with an overwhelming taste and aroma of cumin. One of the poorest meals we have had for some considerable time.
Absolutely delicious food. We were unsure whether we should make the trip to The Pavilion as it was slightly further than we wanted to drive but I’m delighted we did. We were spoilt for good curry living in the city but now we’ve moved out it’s much harder to find. I’ve even been served cheddar cheese instead of paneer! But not at The Pavilion. The flavours were exquisite and the food felt rich yet light. Naan was great, vegetable shashlick was cooked perfectly. There was no oil floating on top of any of our meat dishes. And BYOB. Brilliant all round. Thanks.
