Disappoint. This restaurant was good before and we haven't been there for over a year since we didn't live in the area. Quality and service have down the hill. No wonder it was half empty on a Saturday night. With so many good restaurants in the LA Food scene and many upcoming I'm not sure how to compete. It's sad because we liked this place. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday, but the waiter didn't even give it after Ibad told him in his face. The food was haephase, you get a roasted snapper and grilled chicken right after bread and then the Hamachi finally comes after two more appetizers. All dishes were on a crowded table and waiter not even trouble picking empty dishes.
We've been here for years. I think it's one if not the best restaurants in the area. There were fewer people this time. I hope this is an anomaly because of the lack of this quality of the restaurant. My wife and friends are foods that often eat. We want to keep this place successful.
Outstanding food. The house bread is wonderful and worth the small charge. The snapper fish was moist and delicious with a crisp coating. The spare rib was so tender is came off the bone without a knife. Peaches and burrata were a big hit. Bread pudding is one of the best I have ever had. Our waiter was fabulous. Did everything to accommodate our special requests, got every order right. Pacing of the courses was very comfortable. We had time to savor the food and have good conversation.
Food was great but the drinks were not good at all. Not a professional bartender at all.
