River Rock - STUDIO CITY

I booked a table in month in advance, just to show Valentine's Day weekend to find a closed sign taken on the door. I received no e-mail, no phone calls, no notification what ever. That's why they got the evaluation they did.

The Sunday buffet at this restaurant is fantastic and offers great value for the money.

Maybe it was a night, because our visit to River Rock was completely underwhelming. First, the service was very dirty, with several people who serve our table, but no obvious communication. I ordered the Ribeye medium wheel. What I got saw more like a flat stripe, a disappointing half inch thick, and just boiled over medium. No wonder, and harder than shoe leather. The chimichurri or whatever they did there was not bad. The asparagus was boiled and cold. My special friend had the slides that were underused, but extremely dry and brittle. They came out 10 minutes after my duck. At the end of our meal, as we asked for the check, they delivered the rolls to our table. We just shake our heads. Very moderate.

It is a bar with menu. Very usual would not go back

We reserved this location for a baby shower and it was a big group. They were able to accommodate us with no problem for brunch. Great ambience for big group. Outdoor dining! The table was ready. You can decorate it. It was very private, not overcrowded. Well priced. Food was good. Good for photos as well. Our friends and the celebrant had a great time. Thank you Roberta and Chris for your fast response. Will definitely recommend and come back for another event.
