Donny's Glidden Lodge - Sturgeon Bay

We went to Donny's Glidden Lodge for my wife's birthday. She had been there before and this was her request for her special dinner. Great Supper Club, Great Choice. The Lodge has great views of the lake through the entire restaurant and bar. We were their just before sunset and it set the perfect romantic setting. You cannot beat the location and scenery for any dining experience. Food and drinks were excellent although my husband reported that the walleye was only good not great. There was not one thing wrong with the salted caramel cake and the staff, other than the hostess who was a little harsh in my opinion, was excellent. Cheese curds were wonderful, crispy on the outside and soft and cheesy on the inside.

We were just here yesterday and had a great dining experience in this place. Their lamb chops was juicy and flavorful. I enjoyed it to the last bite. My husband and son loved their food as well especially the french fries. Service was superb. The views of Lake Michigan was a plus. This restaurant is literally a few steps away from the lake.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impression! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, comprehensive wine list, and excellent cheese curds. I recommend it to everyone! I want to come back here again and again.

The best restaurant in the Sturgeon Bay area. In any case, you need a reservation, the place is always busy, but worth waiting. There is steak is great, and there is no place where you can get an 18oz steak for 21$ and so be goooood.
