Belle Joli Winery Sparkling House

What a great winery! So unique with it being a sparkling wine house as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The patio is huge and overlooks the small vineyard. They offer a membership with many benefits. Definitely going back!

Thought we'd try this place out. Our timing was off so didn't do a tour but stopped in for a tasting. I'm terrible with names so can't recall the you g woman who helped up but she was very knowledgeable and the wines were amazing! Bought a couple bottles but wish I had gotten more.

We really love this winery. We stopped by a couple of years ago when in SD and we liked it so much, we came again when we were in the area. Staff is always amazing, we especially appreciated Hannah, Devon and Josie, who took great care of us when we were there. They were informative and accommodating. The wines are beautiful and the location is stunning. The patio are is very relaxing and inviting. The have Methode Champenoise sparkling, which is, in my opinion, the best sparkling out there. Also an interesting Cab which is fermented in stainless steel, unlike any that I am used to, being from CA, but, very nice. I recommend this as a stop for any wine lover!

Nice little secret in Sturgis as I wouldn't have thought about trying wine from South Dakota (after experiencing French, Italian, Argentinean and California wines . It's 5 star mainly for the service, ambiance and location... an absolute delight finding this up the hill from Sturgis downtown, serene outdoor patio that overlooks a little vineyard and view of Sturgis sign on opposite hill. Wine tasting 4 small pours for $5. Enjoyed the outdoor patio, took in the view (a nice contrast to the rumblings of motorcycles during Sturgis Motorcycle Rally week; , enjoyed the flatbread. The wines were pricey e.g. Moscato $40+, Riesling $25 but nice, on the sweet side. The white port was most unusual. The proprietors are French trained and their assistant Teryn was very helpful in explaining each wine and packing up the bottles that I bought as it's not sold in California. Nice trip souvenirs for friends. Would definitely return!

We went here in 2014. At the time they had a little shop in Deadwood, SD. We were just getting into wine. We found this place and the wines were amazing. I can't wait to get back to the area.
