Wielandshohe - Stuttgart

My wife and I came for our jubilee. I expected the price was high, but I was still quite shocked. the 4-course menu I had seen online were 88/98 eur. but ours were 105/115 eur. but still it is easier to take than 18,50... eur for a glass champagne on the aperitif menu or 8,50 eur for a bottle teinacher foam water. there was a huge wine book, but there is no real drink menu otherwise we would definitely have limited ourselves to 1 bottle of water. I guess it's embarrassing to calculate that as much and they don't want to print the price. read the restaurant rules online today. I see that I should not ask for a window seat or complain about the high prices. I should enjoy the plush interior and focus on eating. but we had a bad table. I noticed the chipped color on the wall next to me. I wish I had asked myself to sit outside. there were some beautiful romantic tables we saw when we were gone. I didn't complain about eating, well prepared with top ingredients. my wife enjoyed the spicy sweet consumption. the service was mixed. our main server was quite weak, although the maître d' and the weinserver were in order. After we left, my wife said she didn't want to go to chic restaurants anymore. not an ardent confirmation.

This restaurant has been on my list for a very long time. The wine list is one of the most extensive collections I've ever seen! The food is spectacular! I had a sadlle of lamb that was prepared to perfection. The service is meticulous and...friendly. Take the U-bahn because parking can be an issue. The decor is simple, clean, and modern. This is THE best restaurant in Stuttgart.

I visited Frankfurt city on a business trip last month and I had a dinner at the Wielandshohe Restaurant. I was invited to that place by a future partner and I was really impressed by the choice. We had a reservation (later I found out...that it was made well in advance), and we were seated on a nice table, where we could enjoy a great view towards Stuttgart. The waiter was friendly and polite.The interior is lovely but not overwhelming; the atmosphere is relaxed and elegant, the service we got was absolutely brilliant. The food was truly amazing, the products were fresh and everything was really tasty – the appetizers, the main dish and the desert. The receipts used were from the local and the Mediterranean cuisine. Everything was incredibly delicious. The wine list was impressive even for a wine connoisseur like I am. The place was full of people, many of them celebrating a special occasion or being on a business dinner. I cannot comment on the prices, but I think that this place deserves every euro spent here. Great work! The evening was absolutely brilliant and I really enjoyed my time there. If you plan a visit, make a reservation and if you want a table with a view – go earlier.
