The WORST cafe in perth pl.... The WORST cafe in perth please avoid, bad food, bad service, negative owner
Tasty food is usually not that great for the waistline. After all, as the Chef’s saying goes “fat is flavour”. Though it would seem this is not a rule – as I found out at Health Freak Café . At Health Freak, you can be sure every choice is a healthy one and pretty much guilt free!
Great choice. I'm a regular customer to this Subiaco healthy food store and have been really pleased lately! I work just around the corner and come down on my lunch break for a quick take away and juice, the debs detox is so nice everytime with a good Wack of lemon. The young girl at the front is always bubbly and asks me how work is going, and remembers which juice I get even when it's busy. There have been a lot of delicious new take away salads lately, I loved the brown rice salad today and the mushroom salad on previous days! Definetly recommend it to my co-workers for a healthy lunch or sweet treat served with a smile!
Dissapointment... Definitely earned the 52% rating (or less)!. Have been subscribed to the FB page for a while and meaning to try this place out for just as long. Was excited about the healthy options on offer but sadly it lived up to the 52% rating on here. We arrived around 11am and had to wait until 11.30am until the kitchen changed over from breakfast to lunch menu. The coffee while we waited to order was good, but the main meals were average at best. The beetroot and quinoa patties were crumbly and tasteless. The grilled salmon was inedible, overcooked and very dry with the while seepage out the sides characteristic of cooked frozen meat. Served on seasonal veg which consisted of coconut creamed cauliflower and zuchini ribbons, definitely did not go and tasted pretty odd. We got a refund for the salmon, but little to no apology. Such a shame as Perth needs cafe's like this. Won't be going back.
