Irpinia - Succasunna

This is a hidden gem in Roxbury. Just stopped for a quick Mozzarella sandwich and it was outstanding. The people were very nice and the kid in the deli worked fast and efficient in making sandwiches at lunch. Happend to motive the daily dinner specials they offer as well for $30 for a family of 4. Great Food and Great Value. I will be back really soon. Cant walt to try some other entrees and desserts. Great Job.

Italian food is wonderful and authentic. Reasonably priced specialty items. I bought some old favorites for gifts, to serve and some new items to try. They have value packed gift arrangements too. Wife speaks fluent English, Italian and Spanish. Husband speaks fluent English and Italian. He is from Italy and is the main chef. Love their eggplant parmesan and his cauliflower tastes just like my mother-in-law's did. I have tried other hot specials there and have always enjoyed.

Irpinia Deli is fantastic for catering a party or just grabbing a sandwich. Everything has an authentic Italian feel. The staff is very friendly. The food is fresh and delicious. The only downside is that it seems a bit pricey to visit often. But you won't be disappointed when you do.

Hands-down the best Italian food in the area. We turn to Irpinia every year for our Holiday gatherings and our guests always rave about the food. The quality of the food easily surpasses the food available at so-called fine dining establishments across Northern NJ. My wife and I come from traditional Italian-American families and we both agree the food from Irpinia is as good or better than the dishes we revered from childhood through present day. The staff is always friendly and courteous and, contrary to some of the other posts we’ve read, we find the owners to be incredibly kind and totally oriented to delight their customers.

Any event I need to catered, I always use Irpinia. I had them cater my daughters 1st Communion yesterday and once again, the food was amazing!! Make sure to get the tray of Filet Mignon. Mouth watering deliciousness!! And I really can't say enough kind words about the owners. And their regular menu is just as good. Great quality food and reasonably priced!!
