Várcsárda - Suemeg

The food is pretty mediocre, by default we got ketchup with the fries and cutlets. Otherwise it was pretty okay. The setting is very appealing for those who are into history. The service is okay as well. We went there when it was pretty crowded so I suppose they had a good excuse. The atmosphere was great! Might be able to adapt wheelchairs, kids and pets due to the large outdoor terrace.

The whole place is a true professional in hospitality. We ate Bakonyi meat pancakes and rogue steak. And the children have fried chicken breast with French fries (as always and everywhere). For dessert we had pancakes and somloi. Everything was delicious and impeccable. The garden room was full during the time we had lunch, and yet we didn't have to wait long for anything. There are nice, attentive waiters and even live music with cymbals, which is a rarity these days. A real inn atmosphere!

The food is good but not memorable. There have been nice waiters and there have been less nice ones. The atmosphere depends on the kind of company at the table, the inn doesn't do much for it. What I consider very negative, however, is that the tip is charged. Perhaps the guest should decide this.. and of course know before paying and giving an extra tip without knowing it. Parking: It is advantageous to be able to park next to the restaurant if there is still space, which is good for the elderly.
