The Moon Mushroom Inn - Suffolk Coastal

I went for lunch on Saturday,we had fish and chips and gammon eggs and chips.. The portion size was that of a child's menu,a small piece of fish and about 10 frozen chips, the gammon was very salty and couldn't be finished.The one member of staff locked rusted off her feet,if this is a fresh start for this establishment,it has not worked, also the ala carte menu is shocking,who wants blue cheese and sweet chilli sauce in their macaroni cheese, avoid!

Lovely cosy pub which is full of character. Visited for Sunday lunch after previously popping in for a drink a few months earlier and resolving to go back and try the food. Roasts were average and the gravy was rather thin. An extra jug of gravy was provided which, had it been good gravy, I would have been over the moon about. Nevertheless it was a nice touch. Regretted having desserts which were clearly shop bought/ processed and not cheap at £7.95 (although portions were very generous) Staff were very pleasant. I wouldn't rush back again for food but it's definitely worth a visit for a drink.

A super tasty lunch, can totally recommend the ham, eggs and fries, and the lobster bisque dish. Also great coffee, thank you!!

Manager more interested in decorating a table than serving drinks. Once I was eventually served the party coming to the table arrived half an hour later. There were only 6 people in the pub when I arrived. She seemed to be under pressure?????

Went for a brunch with my daughter ,what a lovely Christmas decorated place , was served straight away by a nice lady , the food was quick and nice and hot , we looked at the menus for different times of the day, next time we’re going to try a dinner menu ,
