This charming little restaurant serves simple yet delicious dishes that remind me a lot of my mother's cooking, even though we're Vietnamese. The small sour soup, devoid of vegetables, was absolutely brilliant and at the perfect temperature for me to enjoy right away. The sausage was sweet, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The chicken was delightful as well. As for their Gulaman drink, if you enjoy tapioca beverages, you're likely to love this Filipino version. The place was clean, and the absence of music was a refreshing change from what I'm used to.
The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Longanisa breakfast. I gave it four stars because, aside from a poster on the wall listing the all-day breakfast and drinks menu, there were no clear indications of pricing for the various items. There was a cafeteria-style hot dish area and options for two or three protein plates, but I couldn't find any price information. Additionally, there were no labels indicating what each dish was. The staff didn't provide this information, but they appeared ready to assist others who asked after we ordered. Overall, it was a pretty good experience with delicious, indulgent food.
Very clean restaurant. Small but cozy bathroom was also very clean. The staff were young, cool and generous. The food is furnished in your typical Filipino rice 1 or 2 duck and a soup. The BBQ was ordered and was delicious and delicate. Lechon was not overcooked and also delicate and tasty. The Turon was also freshly made, warm and tasty. Will definitely come back
We visited the restaurant for lunch and it was not busy. They had about 10 items prepared a cafeteria style set up. We tried several items from there including the flattened eggplant, sautéed pork, mixed vegetables, chicken wings stew and the halo halo. Everything was prepared well, they took care to explain us how the traditional Filipino dishes are prepared. This is a family run place and hope they succeed in opening more locations like this one.
