The setting is quaint—a compact cafe with just three tables, making me believe most patrons opt for takeout. I tried the schezwan chicken fried rice and chicken lollipops. Regrettably, they fell short of my flavor expectations and would just rate it average.
Being African American, and trying different culture foods, I would have to say Mahek Indian restaurant is fabulous. I love there butter chicken, garlic Naan, and their fried rice with chicken. All three I can eat daily. Portions size are worth the money
One of the best indian food places in houstonDonot judge looking at the surroundings just go in . Tried garlic naan accompanied with paneer butter masala which was little too sweet for me but the garlic naan was too good. And the main highlight of my order was their veg fried rice and chilli paneer gravy . That fried rice was on point , it was soo perfect as it should be nothing more nothing less. And the chilli paneer gravy it was of medium spice goes amazing with fried rice i would have liked it little bit more spicer. Would give overall 4.5/5 . Ps- their indo chinese and north indian menu could be dopeThey have a small menu but its lit. If you are going there by my review i would suggest you to try indo chinese menu first.-Rohit sunkaraPc-food was too good that i forgot to take pictures
The food was great. Everything we ordered was delicious. The vibe is good. Ok ambiance (needs little improvement in that area)
