I ask a question about the points and the employee pretended like he didn't understand me. I started to leave and he answered my question. Just like that. No one likes answering questions that we think are stupid, but we all have to if we are in the service industry.
I would give this subway a Zero if I could. Went in today to purchase food and everything was going great until I went to pay. I was leaning on the counter...not over the counter but leaning because I have a bad back. The young employee told me to quit leaning on the counter. I thought maybe I was pushing on it but noticed that I wasn't. I asked the employee why I was asked to not lean...he said the price of the food and gave no response. When asked again he told me he didn't want me leaning on the counter. I asked what was being hurt and he just kept repeating the total. I asked to see the manager and asked her what I was doing wrong. She said no and asked the employee what was going on and told him he was wrong. The employee starts to mouth me and the moves down to make more sandwiches and keeps mouthing. The manger gets on to him. I will never go back. Is this the type of employees we are accepting today??? I also had the same experience a person mention in the comments about showing up 30 minutes before they were supposed to close and they were closed.
I walk into the store, and one employee is visible. Before I'm even all the way through the door, that one employee bails for the back. I wait several minutes to see him or any other employees, and finally one of 2 kids on the lobby go to the back area of the store and apparently alert their mother that she had a customer. I quickly see why she didn't notice me, with her phone in her hand and buds in both ears. I've seen ppl not wanna be at work but JFC, this was next level professional apathy. Thankfully subway employees have a hard time screwing up a sandwich, considering the customer can oversee the work. I guess the highlight of this experience was that it didn't make me sick.
I had to ask the young man to change his gloves 3-4 times because he kept touching his dirty hat and once in the middle of making the sandwich he answered the telephone, came back without changing his gloves and wanted to know what I next wanted on the sandwich. When I asked him to change his gloves please he told me actually he was close, that he was alone and under the age of 16 . He said something about the manager when I questioned why would they leave you alone if you can't ring anyone up. So he pretend to call his manager leaving to go to the back with the phone for at least 10 minutes). That was when he could suddenly ring me up. Once again I had to ask for him to put new gloves on. What an ordeal for a sandwich.
I used the app to order my 3 foot long Turkey sandwiches. When I I showed up to pick up the sandwiches, I was happy to see that the sandwiches were ready and waiting for me to just pick up and leave especially since there was a long line for lunch. However, when I got home, the sandwiches were not made correctly. All three sandwiches were missing tomatoes and all three sandwiches were missing the cheese. I don’t recommend ordering from the app since they may get the sandwich incorrectly made. I tried calling to the store to speak with the manager however, the voicemail box was full and no one picked up. I will go to the other subway store nearby in the future.
