The Toasted Yolk Cafe - Sugar Land

Came here for brunch and the food was good. The servers were very friendly and attentive. There was a 20 minute wait for a table and the place was very packed.

We walked from a nearby hotel for late breakfast, sat on the patio. Server, Chris, very attentive and friendly. We ordered brisket tacos, morning Rita and a breakfast shot. The tacos were ok, thought they would have more of a kick, hash brown casserole tasty though very rich. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Menu had many items we would like to try. May return again while we are in town.

Terrible value and slow kitchen. $7.88 for a cup of coffee and a small cup of fruit. It took 20 minutes to get my food. Not happy!

David was our waiter and he was such a sweetie. He took very good care of us. His recommendations were on point. There is plenty of seating and they have a cute outside section! There was something upstairs but we didn't go up there. Overall I'm definitely going back a few times so I can try their adult breakfast drinks and some other menu items.Dietary restrictions: They have turkey and chicken sausage. Egg whites, avocado and some gluten free items.

I'd go there again since the service was very good and the food very tasty and generous sizes. Great family place.
