Don Carlos - Sullana

We were directed to Don Carlos as being the closest place to eat at 9 PM from the hotel. They're only open at night so you don't realize there is a restaurant there during the day, but it is worth the wait. We were there on two occasions--the first time we split a whole chicken, which was excellent. It was juicy inside, skin was delicious. It came with french fries and a salad--the three of us did not finish it. They had fresh passion fruit juice that night so we got a pitcher. The total--$21 US. The second time 2 had steak, I had chicken again. Large portions, good taste--juice was pineapple, it was ok. The service was excellent both times--very attentive but not in the way.
