Warm and attentive service in a beautiful setting. They are easy to miss, so look for the sign. We had angus steak and ravioli of the day... All was perfetto.

Nice quiet place in a middle of old city of Sulmona. Our room was spacious and quiet. Restaurant downstair offer goood Italian food and staff especially owner was really kind and helpful. I strogly recommed that place.

We choose this place for our one night trip to Salmon just by a feeling, parking places nearby, a good price etc. We we arrived there with my wife, we were welcomed heartily by the owner and the housekeeper lady who immediately carried our luggage to our room. Grancia dei Celestini has a very rich history starting 1292 when monastery was constructed, I suppose it took several years. In the 90´s a local geometra (building engineer) started to renovate the place from the ruins, it took eight years the finish the work. The rooms are lovely with the handmade oak ceiling, air-conditioning and in some rooms there is a fireplace. The dinner in the patio was good. Il padrone himself, householder and owner, prepared starters in the summer kitchen. Il padrone is the same man who did the restoring work. Next morning the breakfast was excellent, mixed Italian-continental. The housekeeper lady seemed to have time to do everything; she welcomed new quests, carried their luggage, prepared coffee according to everyone´s wishes, made scrambled eggs and so on. She together with the owner really made our visit into Wow Experience!

We were passing through the city and stayed in this b
